If only I could tell u how much u mean to me
If only u would sense the love beneath my fury
If only I could get to hold u once
If only u would get to read my mind
If only I could fly like a bird
If only u would capture me in ur heart
If only I could be with u for ever
If only u would let me go never
If only my mornings would begin in your arms
If only my nights full of your dreams never saw the dawn
If only I could tame my thoughts
That don't give up following you

Sometimes an artistic creation like poem takes a person to such a pleasant world that the reader just wants to live in the world depicted by the poem forever. This poem shows that world to its readers but with a voice of unrealized potential to live in that world. I believe that the beauty of the poem will force every reader’s heart to cry from within (At least I heard the crying at my end) - “If only this poem was written for me”.
Our life is always full of so many Ifs and Buts. But before expecting others to fathom you, you should be able to fathom yourself. The beginning point of every beautiful journey is the SELF. Once you know what you actually want from your life, you actually feel a confidence within yourself which makes you independent of other’s actions. If your heart says, “Yes! This is the heart I was looking for.” Then you need not to expect the other to come and hold you but you will be confident enough to go and hold that hand. And even if the other person shows a cold attitude towards your moves, you don’t feel guilty in later part of your life saying that... if only I’d have taken at least a few steps for my heart’s longing at that time.....
